There are many different ways that I would want to use visual aids in a speech. For example if I were doing a speech on "The Perfect Date" then I would more than likely want to illustrate and support ideas so my audience would know how things look, operates, and relate. On a speech "The
Perfect Date" I would want to use a bar and column chart to show and compare dating experience of how many perfect dates there was verse bad dates or even ok dates. A pie chart would also work for comparing and showing as well. I can even use media for presenting visual aids on this particular topic in the "The Perfect Date" speech such as using a whiteboard, chalkboard, flip pad, poster board, handouts, projector, and a brief youtube clip. Which ever one that is convient or show the audience the best is the one that should be used. While doing the speech for "The Perfect Date" I would always maintain eye contact with the audience. Visual Aids are use to help your audience to understand and to show more clarity on the subject, everything needs to be clear otherwise there will be confussion instead, also it should be large enough for everyone to see. Most importantly, it needs to be interesting because I wouldn't want to put the audience to sleep.
